Problem: Bexar Branches Alliance had an outdated color scheme and typogrpahy.
Solution: Create a brand identity that communicates it's desire to educate and gain donations to in order to raise awareness and fund projects to help maintain the San Antonio Tree Canopy.
Market Research
Target Audience: Bexar Branches Alliance wants to appeal to individuals who want to get involved in helping the forest canopy and to possible donors to fund their mission.
Competitors: Bexar Branches Alliance has no competitors.
Visual Direction: Bexar Branches aim to educate their audience as well as promote growth in both their audience and the forest canopy.
Color Scheme
Bexar Branches Alliance aims to communicate that by joining with their organization you will be helping nature have the potential for growth for both you and the San Antonio tree canopy and work with a trusting organization.
Navy Blue: Bexar Branches Alliance promotes educating it's audience about the forest canopy so the facts they provide must be true, so in order to convey that a navy blue color was added to the brand to convey trust.
Teal: Bexar Branches works in the industry of forest preservation which means nature colors are needed, however the client didn't want a regular green because it was too generic so instead of green I did teal that still gives off nature vibes
Emerald Green: Bexar Branches also aims to promote growth in both its volunteers and the forest canopy so emerald green was incorporated into the brand identity, green conveys growth and it is widely used in many companies who want growth for their customers.

Typography
Bexar Branches Alliance wants to have a tone that communicates both education and growth. Sans Serif was the best choice because it not only is used in tech and info sites but it also used widely by many industries that aim to provide their clients with growth opportunities.
Post Design
I decided to give Bexar Branches Alliance so ideas on post designs. Each one is carousel that points out one specific fact that encourages their mission. One post carsoel talks about animals that could whined up being endangered and at some point extinct if deforestation continues, the next one includes what you will gain from helping the rainforest so that it shows the user that there is something in it for them.

Brand Identity: A newly updated visual identity that aligns with the core values of Bexar Branches Alliance.

Increase in Instagram metrics: According to the client thanks to my social media design strategy Bexar Branch Alliance's posts have seen an increase in likes, comments and reposts.
